As a student of Suren Bagratuni at Michigan State University (MSU), Callum also served as a teaching assistant at MSU as well as principal cellist of the MSU Symphony Orchestra. Prior to this he completed his Master’s degree at the University of Waikato, New Zealand, studying with James Tennant. He has taken part in master classes with Gautier Capucon, Alexander Ivashkin, Laurence Lesser, Leslie Parnas and
Thorlief Thedeen.
